obtained the diploma in piano with full marks (2000) at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory of Venice.
In the same institute he took the degree in choral music and choral conductorship (2001) and in composition (2003).
In October 2005 he obtained the master degree (2nd level diploma) in piano with full marks at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory of Venice.
He took part in the piano post - graduate scholarschip “Hortus Niger” in Croatia (1999), in advanced studies of piano at the “ Fondazione S. Cecilia” of Portogruaro- Venice (2000-2001) and in the piano master class of Walter Krafft in Venice (2001).
He parteciped in the 41° Internazionalen Ferienkurse für Neue Musik 2002 in Darmstadt (Germany) where he attended the lessons of Toshio Hosokawa, Isabel Mundry, Tristan Murail, Emanuel Nunes, Robert HP Platz and Wolfgang Rihm.
His piano pieces “Foglie d’ombra” and “Valle di Ghiaccio” have been selected and performed in the seminars “Compositori a confronto” 2002 and 2003 in Reggio Emilia (Italy) where he also attended the workshops of Sylvano Bussotti, Giacomo Manzoni, Nicola Sani, Alessandro Solbiati, Gabrio Taglietti and Giovanni Verrando.
His compositions have been commissioned and performed during festivals as “Firenze Estate” 2010“ (Italy), Sul filo delle emozioni” 2010 (Brescia - Italy), “Immaginare la musica” 2009/2010 (Italy), 53° Biennale di Venezia “Il corpo del suono” 2009 (Italy), Festival Die "Unerhörte Musik" Berlin 2009 (Germany), Festival Rebus di Milano 2009 (Italy), “Correnti” 2009 (Pescara – Italy), , Trelleborg Piano Festival 2009 (Sweden), Brinkhallin Kesäkonsertit 2009 (Finland), Astra Music Festival 2007 and 2008 (Australia), Groggia Modern Seasons 2006 and 2007 (Italy), Canti di Vita in Tempo di Peste 2005 (Italy), XXIX° Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte of Montepulciano 2004 (Italy), "Compositori a confronto" editions 2002 – 2003 – 2005 (Italy), Il Canto di Metastasio 1999 (Italy).
He composed and performed the music for the monologue of Dino Villatico, “Voi che ascoltate” (Venice – Italy, Teatro La Fenice - 2005).
In October 2006 he has been selected and he attended the masterclass for composers of Klangforum Wien during the 50th International Festival of Contemporary Music – Venice Biennale.
His works are published by ArsPublica, Sconfinarte and Aliamusica Records.
He has studied orchestral conductorship with Emilio Pomàrico in Milan (2003/2004 – 2004/2005).
In July 2007 he took part in the conducting master class of Donato Renzetti in Pescara (Italy).
In May 2005 he conducted at the Ring - Ring Festival of Contemporary Music in Belgrade works by Enrico Correggia, Franco Donatoni, Pierluigi Tanzi and Iannis Xenakis for the international “Sonora Project” by Federazione Cemat.
From December 2005 he is the principal conductor of the italian Youth Orchestra “Giovani Musicisti Veneti” . He is founder and conductor of FramEnsemble.
He is a member of SIMC (Italian ISCM).
